• The 25 lb cylinder is bought at stores and points of sale, without a contract; the first time you pay for the use of the cylinder
• The 100 lb cylinder is delivered to your home (scheduled deliveries) and its installation must meet safety requirements

• Same as the owner. In towers, ask the building management: many have central gas or do not allow cylinders

Foreigner (passport, lease, residence card)

• No published document requirements to buy cylinders

• 25 lb refill in Panama City and San Miguelito: B/. 4.37 (maximum subsidized price, Executive Decree 32 of 2026)
• 100 lb refill: B/. 92.30 (scheduled deliveries, 16–29 October 2026; changes every two weeks)
